Politically-themed film will come out in July

A documentary directed by Neil Young is being readied for its US release, when it will come out simultaneously in theatres, on On Demand and through Netflix streaming.

Scheduled for a July release, ‘CSNY -- Déjà vu’ features the 2006 tour of Crosby Stills Nash & Young during which the band travelled across the US with their anti-war themed show, and interviewed Iraq War vets and others involved with the US invasion.

The tour caused many conflicting views among audiences as the band performed tracks including ‘Let’s Impeach The President’ on the jaunt, entitled the ‘Freedom Of Speech’ tour.

The movie was premiered at Sundance in January, and the band revealed their plan to have the film released several months in advance of the forthcoming US Presidential elections in November.

The DVD is slated for a release closer to election time through the band’s own label Reprise.
