Neil Young is preparing to release an album that chronicles his famous two-night stand at the Canterbury House in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1968.

'Sugar Mountain: Live at Canterbury House 1968' is due out November 25 in the US and features songs including 'Expecting To Fly', 'Mr Soul' and 'Out Of My Mind', reports Billboard. It was recorded just a few days before Young's 23rd birthday.

Meanwhile, Young has reportedly pushed back the release date of his highly anticipated 'Archives Vol. 1'. It is now expected to come out sometime in 2009.

I have been waiting for the Archives for years now, Neil is a genius and if he doesnâ€™t think they ready yet then I trust his judgment, but how many more delays must we endure? Good news about the â€˜Sugar Mountainâ€™ live album though. I suppose we have that to keep us going until a (hopefully) Jan/Feb Archives release.

If this live release is anything like Massey Hall or Filmore East, we're in for a treat. Come on Neil, get those archives out - please stick to the revised date. I'm not gonna hold my breath though

I agree with geetar, the two previous live releases were both superb. I'd love it if one of the future releases was from the Tonights The Night Tour back in the early 70s.
