Arctic Monkeys man says his ‘other' band could last a life-time

The Last Shadow Puppets' Alex Turner has said that the band – comprised of him and The Rascals' Miles Kane – could last for another 45 years.

The duo released their debut album, 'The Age Of The Understatement', in April this year.

Speaking to the Guardian, Kane joked that if the band were not still going that far down the line he hoped to be spending his musical retirement sailing.

"Yeah, maybe" said Turner, when asked if the band could last for 45 years.

"I'll be 67" added Kane. "Like Paul McCartney. He looks OK on it. If not, I want to be on a yacht."
