Conservative leader passes on his musical taste

Conservative leader David Cameron gave US President-elect Barack Obama gifts of albums by The Smiths, Lily Allen, Radiohead and Gorillaz when they met in July, it has emerged.

According to the New Statesman, Cameron also gave the Democrat a copy of fellow Tory William Hague's biography of anti-slavery campaigner William Wilberforce.

Cameron did not seem to impress Obama, however, with Obama quoted as describing Cameron as a "lightweight" following the meeting.
