Mitch Mitchell and The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Mitch Mitchell (pictured right), the drummer for The Jimi Hendrix Experience, was discovered dead yesterday (November 12) in his Portland hotel room. The 61-year-old was the last surviving member of the groundbreaking band. He had been touring the US west coast with the Experience Hendrix tour, which had made a stop in Portland. Pic: PA Photos
