Morrissey: I Just Want To See The Boy Happy

Morrissey

Morrissey

Well, give him a PlayStation 3 then – should do the trick

Wry, dry and sledgehammeringly sarky, this is Mozza at his mic-lead whipping best. Upbeat but not, y’know, happy or anything as ghastly as that, it’s a charging, quiff-quaking hit that won’t do nearly as well as it should, but such is life, and while Morrissey won’t be surprised, he may be a little pissed off – so not much difference from normal then. “Let’s face it”, he swoons, quite possibly while sitting in a faux-leather armchair and stroking an inordinately fluffy cat like an indie Bond villain with a rather pessimistic outlook, “soon I will be dead”. So go on, give a dying man his last wish and get your grubby little fingers on another Moz-crafted slice of indie history.
